One of my previous blogs spoke about how many European airlines are creating direct flights into Costa Rica
Major European carriers like KLM, Edelwiess and Air France are seasonal into Costa Rica, mainly during their winter season. These airlines have shown great results in the 2017 – 18 season and are now planning to create more legs beginning in September and October.
KLM is actually thinking about permanently adding routs
It seems that what was meant to be an experiment turned out to be a Great Success
The decision comes from an astonishing 90% occupancy rate! 
Brand new to the market, March, is Lufthansa and they are already looking to add more flights.
Again, this is great for Costa Rica’s economy creating more jobs, tourism dollars, families and investors.
I flew the Dutch airline, KLM, to Europe in March. During each flight the flight attendants that I spoke with were excited to get out and see more of Costa Rica and were jealous of me living here. Others mentioned that many flight crew were requesting that route.
Also, do not forget that several major carriers from the US have direct flights into SJO as well as Air Canada with our friends from way up north!
